M.E.I.N. Migration - Empowerment - Integration - Network The EU-project M.E.I.N is developing a new education concept for learning facilities and institutions for adult education with immigrants throughout Europe. This concept empowers intercultural trainers and educators with a systematic means to steer and coach the individual learning process of their immigrant clients. In this way, adult-education can succeed not only in the transfer of knowledge but also in closing the gap between integration courses and a long-lasting interchange with the immigrant’s new adopted country. Through a European comparison, the dispersion of project results is possible on a European level. Thus, European facilities and institutions dedicated to adult education can fulfill its mission of being a “bridge to integration”.
